THE
SITUATION WE FACE
- There
are now 1.8-MILLION AIDS-Orphans in Kenya - a three-fold
increase, up from 600,000 since 2000.
- 700
Kenyans aged from 25 to 45 years DIE every day due to AIDS,
leaving 1,340 new Orphans daily. The average life expectancy of
Kenyans is now only 45 years, with only 5% of the population over
60. Retirement age is 45 years!
- TB
is an added peril, with 45 deaths every day
- There
is NO free Medical/Health Service in Kenya - you either have money,
or you suffer and maybe Die. Many are refused treatment and sent
home because they have no money, many have died. If admitted,
Orphans are held prisoner in hospital because they have NO MONEY
to pay hospital bills.
- Many
Orphans are excluded from School because they have no money for
School fees, books, uniform, etc.
- Without
YOUR help, these destitute Orphans have no money for Education,
Medicines / Hospital, Nutrition, Proper Clothes or shoes
DESPITE
